LYNX BLACK PRODUCT LAUNCH
LYNX launched their latest fragrance to a group of local influencers and magazine editors in Sydney earlier this year. I was invited to educate their guests about the new fragrance, Black. Like many of the LYNX fragrances, Black was created by Ann Gottlieb, a very successful perfumer who has worked with Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Elizabeth Arden on some of their best selling fragrances. I presented some of her best known fragrances, and the last fragrance was secretly Black. Most of our guests had no idea it was a LYNX fragrance. Indeed, there is nothing different about the fragrance created for LYNX except its delivery system in a can. The fragrance itself is a classic cologne style scent that is somewhat different to the other headier LYNX fragrances.

‘Time to musk up’- Brian Fantana. I was tasked with creating a fragrance inspired by the famous Sex Panther from Anchorman for a Ron Burgundy themed pop up bar. I called it Love Leopard, and though I couldn’t quite bring myself to create something so revolting as Sex Panther, it was still pretty heavy on the anamalic musky notes. I used civit, musk, leather, woods and indole to create a somewhat unique fragrance that would be very at home in Brian’s Cologne Cabinet. I actually had a couple of people contact me and tell me the loved the fragrance!
